I use VB3 on a netbook originally running cantabile lite but needed some
additional features so I purchased the full version. Never had a single
problem with anything.

Haven't followed completely the discussion, anyway this is a good
suggestion. I tried VB3 in several hosts on windows and i remember
hacing latency issues with savihost.

Eventually I settled either for cantabile lite or vsthost, they're
both reliable, simple hosts that does their job and I neve had issue
with those.
