Hi, this is my first post to the group...long time A100, ChoppedL, Electro 2, CX3,Yamaha keys as well as Leslies, Fender, Roland and Motion-Sound owner. I live in Salt Lake, the home of Motion-Sound.  I'm on the road right now, but I'll check it all out when I get back to Salt Lake.  I know a few people who worked there and I'll get some info.

The diaphram is an OEM part, but finding the correct replacement could be rough without MS around, but a few years ago when MS had problems, Speakeasy stepped up:

In light of recent events, Speakeasy Vintage Music has decided to begin providing “Factory Level Service & Repairs”† on all Motion Sound products.

New or Used no matter how old the unit is, we will provide support up to an including fabrication of replacement parts where possible.

Call for details @ 717-292-0814, 10a to 6p EST

It's old news but there's a chance they have continued to stock parts and service products.

The MS website that appears open is apparently a ghost site.  It lists a physical address on Redwood Road and I don't think they are there.

I last visited their factory 2 or 3 years ago after I bought a KBR3-d from a local owner.  They were gracious enough to totally re-port the lower cabinet, update the internal mics locations, install the new horn in the spinner, replace the pre-amp tube on the organ side, fix the OEM input jack that is always broken and reset all the ramp and tremolo speeds to perfection.  It cost a pittance!

The place was a flurry of activity.  They had lots of keyboard amps on the assembly line and a new line of tube amps for guitars.

Now, couple of years later, I can't contact them.  I did read that someone back east ... Speakeaskeys type place was supposedly taking over the inventory and service stuff, but it was unclear and probably a rumor.

As of Feb. 2013 the website at http://www.motionsoundamps.com/products.php said they were back at it and supplied this info:
