I'm guessing you mean input signal level instead of impedance. In general most of your typical analog audio interfaces are op-amp IC's with high input Z and low output Z so most of us don't need to worry about that.

I'll bet the input/output signal is the same as the original vent. It's been stated somewhere before, IIRC low 0dBU and High -6dDU... But I could be mistaken. I any case, the G-G outputs are WAY TO HOT for the vent (at least the original andmost likely the Vent II) and if you do use the output from a Hammond, use one G terminal (either one) for signal and ground for the shield. You then need to attenuate the Hammond. Check out this link:

The main idea is that the Vent, AFAIK, is mainly intended to be fed from a clone output.

BTW, the vent output is about the same as the input, i.e. unity gain (or something very close to unity=1:1)
