Subject:Tony Monaco show was awesome!

Went to Tony Monaco's gig in Indy on saturday. It was an awesome performance by jaw-dropping musicians. Tony is a really nice guy too - he came out and talked to us and gave me some encouragement.

I noticed he was playing on a Crumar Mojo, with a Leslie 3300. No pedals - He's a Jimmy Smith style guy. I pointed out to my girlfriend "There is no bass player..." and she couldn't believe it. His left hand is amazing.

My opinion of the Crumar is that the button layout is atrocious and hard to read. Everything is on top so you can't really set anything up there. Sound wise, it was awesome and gritty and everything you'd want. But aren't all the clones getting to that point?
