Subject:Re: Galileo (hammond iAPP) +Griffin Audio Midi charge dock

Also been experimenting with this Galileo App using a Griffin. I was looking at maybe using it as a backup organ module for those gigs where there isn't space to have my Mojo and my SV1. Last night I was A/B'ing it against my Mojo and it stands up very impressively. Leslie sim was a weak element for me but the basic drawbar tones seem exceptional, especially the bass pedals which sound terrific (after I turned them up a bit). I also thought the C3 Vibrato was pretty good. Seems very tweakable and also really simple to use and it has a number of organ models in addition to Tonewheel, there is Vox, Farf and a Pipe Organ i think, but not really explored this yet. It also has stacks of presets, some more usable than others, and as already said, it has built in FX such as Ring Mod and Wah Wah and an arppegiator. Will take it to a band rehearsal and see how it performs before I consider using it on a gig with the SV1, but it is 100 times better than the organs in that board. Really hope I don't end up liking it more than the tone in the Mojo...:(
