If this helps, I've run my Vent to my not very expensive two-channel keyboard combo amp both in mono (Vent mono out to amp ch. 1) and stereo (left/right Vent out to Ch. 1 and 2 in the amp). I have noticed that running in stereo does give more of a "full-field" sound and deeper harmonics than running it straight mono. The same thing occurs when I run from the Vent outputs to my two near-field monitors. But the difference isn't mind-shattering. In mono you still get great sound as well.
