The Mini-Vent is not a replacement for the original Vent.. The Ventilator II is the replacement, and it isn't available yet.... There has been a very long gap in time between when the original Ventilator went out of production and the availability of the Ventilator II, and personally I think that the mini-vent for keyboards is merely a rework mini-vent for guitar to provide something to bridge the gap. That said, the Mini-vent sound same but does not have the control or editability of the original Ventilator, and it also lacks the remote control input (although a mod is available for around $70 from Bruce Wahler).

On the other hand the Burn is an excellent sounding leslie sim with many features that surpass that of the Ventilator, midi control and updatability, 32 presets, numerous different leslie algorithms and other effects such as reverb, phaser, delay etc..

Both the Ventilator and the Burn are great sounding sims.. here's how they line up price-wise (Based on my understanding)..

Mini-Vent - $349 (plus $70 for the remote mod)
Burn - $429
Vent II - $499
