There is a big difference between selling components vs licensing technology!

I don't think that fatar, who is primarily a supplier of components, really cares as much about one particular implementation of their keyboard as Elvio could/would/should when he's licensing his engine to Studiologic. I think that it reflects on his reputation, more so than a single bad implementation of a Fatar keyboard would on Fatars reputation.

Given my experience, 30 years at a large computer firm, when licensing technology you generally have pretty sophisticated agreements in place to ensure that reputations aren't tarnished by a poor quality end product and/or support.

My point here is that there have been 3 business venture/partnerships that have not ended particularly well... but that's just my perspective.
