Subject:Re: Korg Kronos organs

Just to be clear.. the presets I was referring to was the huge number of "available" presets on the Kronos (thousands) that could be used to store CX3 sounds... However, the number of actual organ presets that comes with the KRS-06 set is 128, and there are probably that number again of the original factory organ programs... My point was that the Kronos is not limited to one octave of reverse colour preset keys or 6-10 preset buttons that other synths have.. and if you really want quick access to a set number of presets.. you can just use the setlist mode and have quick access to 16 different organ setups (including drawbar/perc/C/V and all editable organ parameters) just by touching the touch sensitive display.

One other point that should be made is that organ sounds can also be created using a number of the other synth engines such as the FM engine, or the sample engine. Some owners actually prefer the sampled organ sounds for live prog rock stuff.

The Kronos CX3 organ has a lot to offer... and not just it's X3 organ..
