i think using a clone/sim is directly proportional to your experience with or the ability to mimic the sound of the real thing.

i've noted that either the vent or lex has its own capabilities tho i have never seen nor used one.
there's still that lack of random speed increases in sims, that you get due to centrifugal force of moving mass from a real leslie. so keeping a sim in "fast" gets boring to me.

you end up working around the things sims/clones don't do well and come up with a "best of" list of do's and don'ts.

that's the trade-off for having something you can hold in your hand and this state of the technology.

we are lucky we have choices these days.
