Norm, yea, the perc is either too loud or too soft for me on the VR, wish there were more tweaks on it. But still, it's way better than what we used back in the day. I have the SK1, the SK2, and the VR, and there's still gigs I use the VR for because it has some sounds I need. I definitely prefer the SK organ, but there's some stuff in that little roland that's downright fun, like that chicago harp for instance. And the upright bass is cool too. I do think the jazz scat singing patch should be banned for life though
And yea, we go back and forth on Cissy, we're kind of tired of it so I usually mess with the guitarist by landing on a minor major 7th or something weird. Funny tune, the original kind of bends from the minor to the major third, but they're definitely playng a C7 on organ.
