My view on the piano is that it can sound very good or not so good and depends a lot on both tweaking and which octave you are playing in.. Sometimes the piano depending on settings will sound too muddy but then you hit it up an octave and it becomes shrill.. But, having been using Korgs mostly up to the M3 level (not Kronos) this piano is far better and can sound great when layered or tweaked right.. I love the Roland and use both the vibraslap, the whistle, the wind chimes.. If I were to add anything is I would want a few more of the instrument sounds like flutes, or sax..a decent fiddle violin sound.. The Korg kills in those areas compared to the VR09.. so if I were to say where I find the weakness in terms of gigging and using a keyboard for nonkeyboard sounds, that is where I would have liked more variety or authenticity..

Thanx You all..I enjoy doing these... I usually use Pianoteq plug in when laying piano tracks...I like to use the MIDI editing to clean up "plinky notes"!! LOL..Norm
