Hey Norm, That was definitely SCARY GOOD!
Cold Blood are from the East Bay not too far from me and are friends. Lydia is a sweetheart and it is a terrific group of players. Steve Salinas has been playing keyboards for about a decade with the band using an XK-3 and a Motion Sound KBR M. Even though I used to have this MS "Leslie" myself I never really liked it...however in the mix and in the hands of a great player it sounded fine. I used to bring my Vent to some of the shows and it definitely sounded better but either way the band sounds better than ever. Lydia is in her 60's and can still belt is out with energy and emotion. If you get the chance I definitely recommend you check out the show.
....and I agree Norm GO HAWKS!!
It's been a long time since I have posted....Cheers guys!
Gary

Thanx Goff...That band was SCARY GOOD......
Not trying to boast but ....
A Clone in a full band situation live or in the studio in the proper hands will do the job.....
There are the purists but I have not owned a Hammond since 1979!!
I know how to play one though...
I was quite happy carry that V-Combo to the Triple Door Theater to do this show....
Go Hawks!!!!

I used one for a couple of years...
Traded up for an Electro 2....
It was a fine board...
Never cared for the action too much...

I recently picked up one of these boards in a pawn shop. What are they worth now? It is in pretty much mint condition. I have a bunch of nord boards and it does not quite reach their sonic quality, but seems to be perfectly usable.
