Actually that was me mentioning the Ampeg V4. I always liked those early Ampeg amps. Not many bands used them, but when I heard The Faces I loved the sound so I bought a V4 stack. It was clean enough to faithfully reproduce my miked Hammond and Leslie, dirty enough for the whurly, and loud enough to blast through the guitar amps in stage.
