The Space Station V3 is made by the same person who made the V1 and V2. He sold the company to Fender and Fender decided to discontinue production. Fender have allowed the original designer Aspen to continue to use the SpaceStation name for the totally redesigned SSV3.

There is an extensive thread and comments from Aspen and current owners of the SS3 over at the Keyboard magazine keyboard corner forum.
