I think that you're right on all counts..

Yes, we all have our personal preferences and the sound and simplicity of the Ventilator is very appealing to many people, and you're absolutely correct that some people don't want or need the functionality and advanced midi features of the Burn (and this certainly applies to many of us old Hammond players).. Many things are overpriced these days and yes, Joe Public probably can't tell the difference between one sim and another.

I am really not trying to debate this Burn vs Ventilator, just trying to inform the group, while sharing my experience and thoughts..
