Norm,

Thanks so much for your enouragement and motivation. We don't intendt to re-invent the wheel. Whe know this is run of the ill stuff in the US . I Europe it isn't. I will even respectuly include some musidcal education in my You Tube channel including the sounds of the elements within the hoirn sectio and whan the heck is a hammions organ.
Welcome to continental Europe!

BTW: we are well awarev that the sedcond bar of the chorus has (kinde of) miss-matchinfg melody and backing vocals. It is a #1 diminished chord. But the two layers (instrumentai and voices) add to some humor.

The Hammond is  now 100% mixed and the bass rotor (Elkatone) is more present. This l,eads to a clearer sound so you can hear exactly when speed change occur. The treble hornd re fine, but are too present (in the old mix)

I start with 008800000 and brimg in higher and lower drawbars as the song progresses.

I happen to use a  NI B4 II but IU also use thge B3 a lot,. Both sent thtough a Vent on stop and guitar mode to get that creamy voverdrive (here not very stronf  depemds on style)

Live I will use m XK-3 system through Vent (either as just the overdrive) and the good old 1982 Elkatone. And as soon as I have the money I will buy a "real" Leslie. For ex a model 122.

I love tweaking and coming up with ideas to get that tue soulful Hammond sound I am after.

Christian
