The Mojo footswitch can be easily adapted by adding an external adaptor like described in my previous post. The Mojo halfmoon can't be adapted because when in fast it closes all three contacts.

The Burn has ground on the sleeve and +Vcc on the tip. Despite the protective resistors inside, these two terminals shouldn't be shorted together.

I don't know how else I can explain this... we've not made this choice to make your life harder, we made it to give more flexibility. Sometimes giving more for less is a bad thing. I'll take note.
