Subject:Re: Burn manual?
I think you missed the basic point of my comments.. Burn is shipping and has no "English" manual, whereas the English manual for the "Leslie" pedal HS is available, but there isn't any product! Furthermore, the HS Leslie pedal was announced at the beginning of the year (winter Namm if I'm not mistaken) and it's now October! and no one has got one! The Burn was first mentioned all of 2-3 months ago, it has gone on sale and it's shipping this week. I see that as very reasonable time from announce to delivery, in the case of the Burn, and ridiculous false promises and vapourware from HS.
So what if the on-line manual isn't available in English yet? I would expect it will be available soon.

Craig MacDonald

The Burn was announced many months ago and was supposed to be released at the end of July, whgen they had already posted several demos. It wasn't released until a few days ago. Does this mean that the Burn is a poorly planned out product as well and make you wonder what's going on with their manufacturing processes?
I certainly don't think so. If it takes Hammond-Suzuki or Guido a little bit longer to make sure the product works right when released then that's good corporate policy. Products that are released with inherent flaws (hello, Microsoft! Hello, Apple!) demonstrates flawed manufacturing and business practices.

Who knows? However, when I plug my Burn in, if I find that it's OS is intuitive, I might never even open the manual.

Subject: [CWSG] Burn manual?
Watched the Burn videos, but wanted to read the manual before making a
decision to order one. The download manual is in Italian. All the promo
stuff on the website is in English..so what's the deal. Anyone know how
to translate the manual into English?
Now I'm a little skeptical about how well planned out this product is....
