Subject:New song using Nord Electro (and Casio WK-3000)...

My new song, "Genie". A wry look at the hi-tech marvels of the modern world - Twitter, computer-games and even Auto-Tune, with plenty of funky Wurlitzer piano, double bass, organ and brass.

Lyrics:

Now we speak in abbreviations
With a hash-tag now and then.
We've killed the art of correspondence
'Cause the Tweet is mightier than the pen!

(chorus:)
And the Genie don't fit the bottle no more.
He don't wanna go back inside
And the bottle holds a message
Floating out there on the tide.

And the kids sit killing monsters
Trying to beat their highest scores.
They're beginning to look like zombies
'Cause they never go outdoors!

(chorus)
(instrumental break)

You can buy a ticket into space now;
You'll be able to clone yourself real soon!
And I've even got a gizmo
That'll help me sing in tune!

(chorus to fade)
