So you are basically saying that if anyone wants to try their hand at jazz organ that they need to come up with $5000+ to cover 2 manuals and a pedal board? No wonder jazz organ isn't very popular!

It's not mandatory, but you won't regret buying a two-manual clone. It's like I sais, there are some techniques that you can master only with two manuals. And, it's a lot of fun to play as well.

I would be playing basslines on the organ. Ã So does that mean I really should find a two manual?Ã

I'd say yes, more or less, if you're not going to do basslines on the organ.

Howdy,As I stated in an earlier post asking about the going price of Korg BX3, I would like to pick up a clone and learn how to play jazz organ. ÃI am wondering if I could easily get away with having just one manual? à Maybe something à like the XK1c? à Or, would a single be restrictive and I'd be better off just picking up a dual manual from the get go?
