It's also a pretty good MIDI controller. So if you're not happy with its extra voices, you can connect an iPad, Motif rack, Roland Integra, whatever, and get your extra voices from there. If you're trying to use a single board, there are not a lot of lightweight quality clonewheels that function well as MIDI controllers, and no other ones that have 88 keys. Though like I said, it would be that much better with pitch/mod wheels and aftertouch.

Still, I think it would have been easier to justify the $600 difference if they had added aftertouch and pitch/mod wheels, which would really enhance the board's already strong MIDI controller functionality.
