Right. I access this group online. And one of the reasons I don't enable the email option is all the annoying messages that have 100+ lines of repeated text. ;-) There's something kind of Escher like about that... The annoying emails prompt you to use the web interface, which creates more annoying emails... I was kind of surprised that Yahoo revamped the groups interface and didn't address that, it long having been such a common complaint. The web side is cleaned up a bit, but without even having a way to edit out text as you say, it seems like the mail side would be worse than ever. There should be an option for mailed messages to include only up to "---In CloneWheel@yahoogroups.com"

There is no way to prevent this when replying via group webpages. Replies end up containing all the text of the post being replied to and there is no way to edit/delete the older posts before hitting send. (At least that I have found.)

It has gotten to that time to gently remind you to Trim your $(&^%#@ posts!!!!
Seriously - the last few days have had posts of 4-5 lines of new text followed by literally 100+ lines of repeated texts. It's both consuming & wasteful of everyone else's time to have to wade through all the redundant crap.
