I know very little about the Behringer pedal. The fact that it doesn't
work in your situation is NOT a guarantee that it's 'Yamaha-wired.' In
fact, I suspect that it's not: Yamaha is the only manufacture that uses
their wiring scheme. (The CX-3 pedal was made by Yamaha. Even old Korg
gear cannot use an FC7 directly.
The Yamaha wiring is uses the Ring for the pot wiper (and the Tip for
the top of the pot), while most of the rest of the world uses the Tip
for the wiper. However, neither wiring is completely compatible with a
standard CV pedal, which is usually mono (TS).
You're on your own, I'm afraid. The good news is that there are only
three wires, so that only means a few combinations.
