I have experience with several clones out there:

Roland VK-1: kind of fun sound, but not to correct bu today's standard.

Roland VK-7: sound is a bit on the thin side, specially on the brighterpart.
Leslie sim is not good.

Hammond xk3c: really good sound. Very tweakable, looks good on stage, compared to my 1955 hammond M3 with foldback, very close sound.

Hammond sk-2: very good sound. Extremely close to the xk3c. Xk3c is a bit brighter. Only one drawbar. Big problem in my eyes!

My experience is that modern clones sound closer to each other than older tonewheel does....
