Subject:Re: best clone out there right now?

Sharp eye there, ja. Yeah, I know ... I currently have 2 M-3s in my warehouse and one down in the family room (anyone in the Denver area want one?) and worked with one for a couple of years in the mid 60's before I could afford to buy my first B-3. I had intended to type "non-," but evidently inadvertently omitted the qualifier. I noticed the error myself upon reading the digest and immediately posted my own correction.

For the record, I'm not wild about the feel of Hammond's diving-board-style keybeds either, and it's not just the lack of front-end real estate.

Most folks from this group, however, likely didn't read that far into the post. Few are interested in a "favorite clonewheel" poll (or my own verbosity). I sought only to provide a first-hand comparison of three I know quite intimately, in part because of some misinformation I perceived in some others' posts regarding one of these particular instruments. Again, I regret my own inadvertent misinformation. In reality however, the faux pas had no bearing upon the main thrust of the thread.

Peace,
Fox
