My 2 cents- gotta stick up for Roland also. Had the original VK1, kind of the granddaddy of the clones. Loved it til I got my hands on a Korg CX-3. And the VK -7 when it came out was top notch and is still a highly useable clone today if you find one in good shape at the right price. Their digital pianos are top notch! Still have an RD-600 that I use at times, and being a piano payer first, the action is good and the sound holds up well compared to other digital pianos. For those who prefer physical faders and knobs to computer based recording, the VS-2480 is an amazing piece of equipment , capable of making fantastic sounding recordings . And those are just the things I've had personally- I'm sure other users could comment on a host of their other products. Ryan, I don't know how you arrived at your opinion, but in my opinion, it's not particularly well grounded.
