I have to add to this thread also .....
I have supported both Jim A and Norm P ....I just like both guys music ...and I like the price I get it for
from their particular outlets ....KickStarter for Jim A and ReverbNation for Norm P..
I realize this is not a Norm vs Jim contest ...but i chat of them cause i support both ,.... like I said i like the way they play the keys ..
I think the average price for a CD at the MART is $16.00 so I can save a few bucks by helping out
a few musicians I can chat with at times and that means a lot to me ..
As for the right to post on Clonewheel group or Hammond XK groups .....I do not think that has been abused ..
and would love to see more members share their music with all of us ...and then let me know where i can get it
at a cheap price ....(being the cheapskate that I am )
But if i did not like their music ..I would prob not be posting to this thread ...the point would be moot ...
Then again ...had Jim A or Norm P not been on these groups ..I would never had heard of them or their
great music ...
Thanks guys ...its a kinda fine line ...so lets not abuse it ...
as always ..Mr Phelps .............the director will disavow any knowledge of this post ...!!
thanks
Mike

Maybe I was a bit harsh...
I have barely recouped any of the money I have spent releasing the 3 CD's I
have out..
Most folks listen for free on my music page...
I have all the respect for Jim...
He plays way out of my league....
I have a bad taste in my mouth for Kickstart from some other people that
did it and where asking for huge donations to a project that never got
finished...
Not just the price of one CD....
All the best to him for putting out a project with great Hammond organ
music...
