I used the ring at a jam in the SK1. I found the file of the recording. Let me preface it by saying I play in a house band at this jam. After the house band does it's set anybody who signs up can play. Now there's probably only one song I hate more than spoonful when they call it at a jam, and that's roadhouse blues. Well, this guy called it, and it was a trainwreck, and there was a guy next to me who brought his piano and was driving me a little crazy. at about the 7:45 minute mark I got real bored and started messing with the ring mod. That was the first I ever messed with it so I was kind of exploring it, but you can get a general idea of one effect you can get out of them. It's here, I'd recommend going right to 7:45 though, kind of a trainwreck.
