Using an 8 pin cable to connect to a Leslie like the 3300 or the 2101 does not have any negative effect on the sound quality or volume of the EV's from the 1/4" outputs. Using the 8 pin cable to also connect the EV's to the stationary channels of a 2101 does not negatively affect the volume or sound quality of the EV's.
