Yep, adjusted the latency as well. I was using the Presonus Audio Box 22 VSL. The best I could get was a buffer size of 64 which resulted in a latency of about 10-12 ms. I could hear the piano hit the bed then the sound.
Now that I'm back home I may try to take another stab to see if the piano I was using as a controller might have been part of the issue.
