Subject:Re: New Hammond products
Gotta hand it to ya, Mike ......you're always stirring the pot and getting a
rise about your V5, lol !
But what's this about your interest in the Hoax x3 ? are you considering
retiring your beloved V5 ? `o"
Actually, I've wondered about the Hoax system and whether it would it be
cost-effective to use it to rehabilitate my old XB2 'boat anchor' (or not
:).
As to the H/S leslie pedal vs.Vent, I don't have a dog in that race, but
from on-line comments, I'm inclined to believe the Vent's overdrive would
give it the edge.......
How does the Hoax rotating speaker effect measure up to these pedals ?
I am interested as well in the new smaller Leslie that was announced at NAMM
. I'm still jonesing for moving air, having gone leslie-less since last June
when I took delivery of a Mojo. The weight would probably be a deal breaker
:( I'm trying to restrict the weight of my rig to <50 lbs. per
piece.......
cheers/rob
