Subject:Roland V-Combo VR-700 What do you think?

Hi Gang,

I was wondering through a local music store in Ottawa called Steve's Music, Craig and Ken will know what I am talking about. Well after playing some nice acoustic guitars I wondered back into the keyboard not expecting to finding anything mind-blowing when I came upon a Roland V-Combo VR700 being blown out at $1,100. I know many of you are not particularly impressed with Roland's take on their version of the holy clonewheel, but I have to admit I put on a set of cans and my initial impression was pretty good. I also listened to some of the other patches (pianos etc.) and they were your typical Roland quality which you either love, hate or are indifferent to. I was wondering if anybody in our group owns one and if others have tried it and what they think. Is this a good value at $1,100 new? I always look forward to hearing your feedback.
