My opinion: Make rude, flame war type posts off topic with penalty of eternal cutting off. They drive more decent people away than a discussion of repairing a tonewheel or setting up Midi to play software organ.
Fact: The current economy and improving technology are driving more people to computer based organ instead of clonewheels. If we limit the topics of conversation too strictly, this group will die. If we can put up with conversations that are technically not clonewheel, the collective genius of this group can evolve and continue.
