This may well be true. Though if the 'integrated package' ventures grind to a halt he just may have a change of heart. I happen to think that the dedicated machines will have a shorter lifespan than the sounds they can make. Although his reported disregard for the Mac OS is strike two against him. ;-)
Like I said, you can count on someone else coming along to fill the void.
