Subject:Re: Where do we go from here? (BBS vs. Yahoo Groups)

My 2¢:

As a long-time lurker and very infrequent poster, I find the Group format more useful than the BBS model. I can mentally filter the items not of interest and tune out the occasional flame exchanges just fine the way things are. In exchange for a bit of extra time, I get to peruse topics that otherwise might not come to my attention.

With regard to the poll currently being conducted, I would, however, like to reinforce the notion that inclusion of some discussion of Original Hammond topics is a necessary component of the CWSG, at least as it relates to getting a particular sound, or helping players compensate for user interface differences between Original and Clone instruments. Not cutting off our OT noses to spite our faces, so to speak.

Peace, all, and respect to Bruce for herding all us CW cats.

Mark
