The BC is probably the best sounding Hammond ever made although the BV/CV model is a close second. It is heavier than other B models because it has a second set of tone wheels for producing a shimmering chorus effect unlike the later electro-mechanical Chorus/Vibrato. Also there is no foldback on the low notes so it has a deeper bass sound.
