Subject:Non CloneWheel VST's - Off Topic?

Hi Bruce and Ben,

Your restatement of the CWSG On Topic rules leads me to raise an issue that I have been thinking about for a while.

I came to CWSG out of an interest in getting a good CloneWheel and ended up as a very satisfied VB3 user.

However I have also sought to replicate the broader range of tones such as EP's, acoustic piano, synths, brass, strings etc. that are included to a greater or lessor degree with virtually all mainstream boards these days.

I have not been able to find on the net a group where there is discussion and help provided on EP's etc. similar to that on CWSG. On KC and VI the discussion seems to be focussed on high end products primarily used in professional studios. Over at KVR a post can get no reponse, or be one product specific.

I notice that it is rare for someone to comment on a products Hammond emulation without there also being a comment on the EP's or acoustic piano or synth tones.

The option of starting a separate group to discuss hardware or software EP's etc. ON TOPIC is always there but I suspect it would be a sub-set of the members of CWSG and would to some extent duplicate the ongoing OT comments here, hence my request to consider broadening the scope of On Topic discussion on CWSG.
