if you understand that adding anything to a track, must be tuned TO THE TRACK, not necessarily that it is in tune with a tuner, you will have more cohesive tracks. The more parts you add, you should be alert for this to happen that something may be in tune against a tuner but not up against the track. You have to use your ears more than rely on the technology only.

Thanks to everyone for your help. The problem turned out to be really
stupid and annoying. When the Korg SV1 powers up to the Rhodes sound, it
is perfectly in tune, but the 1st grand piano voice is (at least on
the reverse key version) about 9 cents sharp, and, of course, I recorded
that part first. Thinking it was in tune and knowing the Electro 3 (which
I recorded on top of it) was in tune, I figured it was the sequencer.
Wouldn't you think Korg would make sure their #@%*! instruments were in
tune before they shipped 'em out the door?
