G, there is no capacity within any of the Hammond software today to respond to 9 individual key contacts (at least not that I know of ), and Midi really only allows for an individual note on and not off (plus velocity into of course). It doesn't have the capacity to transmit note/tone1 on, note tone2 on, note tone 3 on etc up to tone 9 (with the tones being the 9 Hammond tones available and triggered for each note), and this would be necessary to utilize all of the 9 switches.. So this really a bit of BS.

Craig MacDonald

And if they used the original Hammond manuals, did they keep the key plungers underneath, the 9 stack, as that would be the real Hammond console feel and then where did they attach the midi wires on them? Or did they just use the keys and placed them on top of a rubber synth triggering device? Still the issue of 9 stack tone has not been addressed. Or has it?

Typically, the definition of latency (that we think about in the SW/Clone world) pertains to the time it takes between the note being struck and the sound being made.. in this case this is a controller and, in itself, it makes no sound.. so there can be no latency..
