Subject:Re: Percussion Volume Adjustment for Numa Organ !
We did discuss the M-Audio controller as a lower manual, but I would prefer the option to have a matching lower manual such as Hammond offers for the XK system.
The Numa organ is so close to being a real contender in the clone market, but if Studiologic/Fatar doesn't do something to distinguish it from the rest, it will be a poor sales performer. Having the KeyB sound engine is a big plus (provided the situation between Elvio and DMI is resolved amicably). I just feel strongly that an optional matching lower manual, with a TP8O keybed, would add value to the Numa for the pro and home market. Of course, it would have to be reasonably priced, but look what Hammond wants for their lower manual ! My Numa organ cost about that brand new. I would consider paying $500-700 for a matching lower, but the VKM-161 is not worth it for the reasons you mentioned.
