I tried one of the 'cheap' ones. It doesn't handle the midi traffic. Send an expression control message and it freezes up. A few quick notes and it has a sulk, You definitely need a $49 adapter from one of the major music equipment manufacturers. Also if you intend to use a Nord instrument with an expression pedal attached to it, as far as I am aware all Nord instruments use midi control #4 for expression rather than the correct cc# ( 11 expression ) so you will need to use Galileo's midi learn feature so that it responds to #4 rather than the default #11.
