I also played the Key B organs at NAMM. I would have to agree that after hearing Joey De Francesco's sets that the Key B would be the one to beat, at least among everything else at NAMM..

There is one interesting thing about thye Key B solo though. It doesn't seem possible to bypass the leslie sim unless you use the 11 pin out into a real leslie. The half moon does a slow/ fast and stop thing but you have the " random rotor position" on brake from what I can tell. There doesn't seem to be a way to bypass the sim using headphones or 1/4 outputs.

I also tried the Nord C2D. There was one major thing that concerned me on that, and that was the volume of the percussion tones in the 4th octave when decay was on slow. It was much too loud thourgh phones for my taste. Louder than the Numa.

By the way, look for a mod on the Numa sometime in March that will alllow for percussion volume changes. There will be some other sdjustments available by pressing the two transpose switches simultaneuosly and using various drawbars. The percussion volume adjustment is going to be assigned to the 9th drawbar.

Nord could really benefit from this mod IMHO, but they are too set in their ways to do anything like this.
