I was not disparaging weekend warriors. I was one for 30 years, and played 100+ dates a year while working full time (retired now and play full time). And, yes, I had the the gear that I wanted (still do) and would buy whatever I wanted, whenever, while some of my friends who were trying to play full time were always checking their gear in and out of a pawn shop to get the rent paid. Music is a difficult business!!
