I only had one night live with the SK so far, but a bunch of time in on the SK through studio monitors at home. I've been ABing it with and without the vent and through a leslie. Honestly, with a clean organ, I could let the vent home. If you need some dirt though, you need the vent. The spinning part on the SK is pretty darned good. The distortion makes the korg seem like heaven! And that's bad! If they could fix the distortion they'd be onto something.
I'll have to do a comparison recording.
