I agree to some extent, but I have been surprised by a couple of gigs
with the SK-1 ( 61 notes ) and I really haven't minded the short
keyboard. The octave shift is very easy to hit while playing and the
action on the SK-1 is really very good for playing piano, unlike the
Nord Electro 3. Part of that is that I can adjust the velocity to my
taste on the Hammond. That was a real disappointment for me on the
Electro 3 73.
