Believing it’s the VK technology doesn’t make it so.  Conversely, it’s not about building a new engine that isn’t as good; it’s about using their current systems and programming and getting them into a cost-effective box. I haven’t personally used the SuperNatural tech, other than auditioning some sounds in the JP keyboards.  They make decent “organ in my workstation” sounds, and even have sliders to operate ½ the drawbars.  Doesn’t make it a clone, but that tech certainly could be ported over, especially if they’re already using that tech for the keyboard.

Think Motif and organ sounds: you can tweak the organ sounds, but…..

And as far as the sliders, the SK1 had them before Nord did, and did it better.

Rafael, I believe it's the same VK8 engine or the VK8 with some tweaks(why would they build a new engine that wasn't as good) It does have a new leslie sim that is patterned after a dual leslie sound (at least that's how I interpret the info).

At half the price of the SK1, if it sounds good, and is playable..it could significantly impact the market.
