Wondered about if the clonewheel engine part in VR-09 is close to the VK8-M.

I like the features where one can affect the sounds as if
it were a functional synth, the drawbars are dual purpose an unusual
interface IMO of stand alone classic patches gone digital. Perhaps the
genre this model was made for hasn't arrived yet and the gauntlet is
flanked by older players. I liked the demo, the artist was coming up
with some interesting sounds, albeit a little throw back of Oldfield.
That being said the interface ideas is what's intriguing if the sounds
are still not to everyone' s liking. The gear is about making music not
showing up at a 50's diner with cutouts uncorked,  the baby moons
polished, admiring the possession from a distance over a burger and a
shake.
