The XM-2 will respond to either the Hammond method (1 CC per drawbar set - 80, 81 & 82) or the method used by others (12 - 20 upper, 21 - 29 lower and 33 & 35 pedal). You may have to select a different MIDI in Mode and Template to get it to work. (pg. 68 - 70)

I've used a Peavey PC1600x to control the lower and pedal drawbars on an XM-2 and IIRC, at one time or another I had it set to send via either or both methods.
