Another excellent example of
restrained, soulful Hammond playing is the late Doug Riley. One of my
favorite ever players, and I had the pleasure to meet him and see him
play live several times. He had a very musical approach and always
seemed able to nail the tone that we all love in his performances. One
of the greats for sure.
